I have a favor to ask...

Tim is closing in on the finish and I am going to make a kind of weird request but this whole race is a weird thing... Send positive thoughts to him today, seriously.  I know that I can clown around but this time I am totally serious.  He is close to the finish and if you can find time in your day to just take a second to send him your energy and thoughts, he will feel it.  I realize that many of you have already been doing this but I am asking this of anyone tuning in, take a second to think about Tim and his crew.  Thanks!  Neil

Tim, This is Nan, your beloved grandmother, speaking to you and the other special people following your ass. I think that it calls for special dedication to look at your backside for over 3000 miles and it certainly is unbelievable that you can follow your dream and do this remarkable feat. Much love to all, Nan

This is probably the last update while Tim is still riding. He is less than a day from the finish.
All of your comments have been helping!

I have been thinking of you every few minutes for months: wishing I were able to be there with the extra goo or water bottle that gets you over the next climb. You are wicked close now, and doing great. I will see you before long

Tim,

I am only recently acquainted with Michelle, however, I feel like I know you too. I have checked the blogs multiple times every day, I've lost sleep at night knowing you were still riding. I am in awe and I am so inspired. Your tenacious dedication to reach your goal is definitely a statement about what we, as human beings, can do. Keep on Pedaling! I am sending constant thoughts/vibes/energy your way. I'll be cheering for you (from Louisville) when you cross the finish line!

Tim, it was so great to see you before you, your crew, and our 4-person team/crew crossed the Mississippi River. You inspired us. We are waiting for you at the finish line in Annapolis, MD. Amy/Melinda/John/Jay -- Go Team Strong Heart!!!

Hey Tim,
Keep up the great work...crazy how the thought of solo RAAM started with a broken foot and a lot of soul searching last July. Continue to muster a bit more energy, you are almost there. Not too bad for a kid from Illinois that had severe asthma. Way to go!

We public safety people in Athens County (OH) have been talking about you (and others). You've got grit and you are nearly there. You can do it and we are rooting for you!
